I like Bean pretty sure he's 6'0, don't think he's that small. 24 goals in the WHL and is the puck moving d-man we need

I've seen ranging reports that he could be as light as 165 lbs. He'd get CRUSHED in the NHL.
- JVince11

Okay so he might not be NHL ready but weight is an issue you can work on. Can't teach hockey sense or speed or height but give him a weight training program and if he can play at 190 you're fine

Banking on an already elite athlete to put 20 lbs on and be the same player is asking a bit much.

(frank)ing Letang. One goddamn game. Such bullpoop. What does the guy have to do? He tried to knock that Rangers player's teeth out in the first round gets away scot free, now he tries to decapitate Johansson, and gets only one game.

Nylander or dubios or tkachuk most likely going to have to trade up for them because not gonna be available so we're left with poop oh well

It's a very small percentage your looking for a elite talent at that pick . And to add to your point small players don't get picked top 10 unless your Ryan Ellis who is not what I want with my eighth overall pick

Probably 3 years away from the NHL
Not worth the 8th pick
Trade the 8th pick in a package for a LH dman or winger to skate with Jack

The Sabres are in good shape with the 8th overall. It's quite possible that one of those mentioned above could drop, most likely Nylander or Dubois. At the very least, Buffalo would have a crack at one of the top D if those 3F go.

What do you guys think of taking Logan Brown at #8? Just turned 18 and already 6'6" and 225lbs. I looks like an animal already and could still grow.

The size argument is stupid.

Crosby is small, Kane is small. Karlsson is small compared to most #1 d men. Draft the best talent

Every time I watch a big-time center I think oh my God he could be the next to Thorton but I get disappointed every time watching them develop Lol

I would be fine trading down and taking him but people on this board might throw trash at me

I can't waste a pick eighth overall on a defenseman like bean who won't be ready for 2-4 years maybe

Some athletes are built different body structure working out more muscle but yet have the same size and weight as a normal small athlete but look different

Those players were undrafted to not in the first-round the players that you listed
Yes they're great players but they develop overtime I just don't want to risk drafting a small defensive player when the odds are against us
