Those connections are undeniable, but one could make just as compelling an arguement for going to Buffalo:

1.-Vesey and Eichel are good buds who also work out together in the offseason.
2.-Eichel has already been in contact with him and that will continue.
3.-Vesey's dad spoke out and said he hopes he doesn't sign in Boston because of the effect of hometown scrutiny.
4.-Is the fact that his father and brother work/play for TO really that big of a lure? I think it could even be a negative, I would think some players would rather make their own individual stamp/path on the NHL, versus taking the path your bro and dad are already on.....oh, and do you think there's going to be less scrutiny in TO than Boston, doubt it.

Except for that Eichel guy, but then again you're a Leafs fan and according to some, everyone wants to sign there. I wouldn't be so sure he signs with the Leafs.

I totally agree with that ! But we don't know how Stammer sees it. Matthews, marner, Nylander isn't anything to sneeze at. Stammer always talked about how much he loves playing at the Bell Centre as well and he'd be a God there playing with Subban (good friend). Half the league will go after him, he'll decide what's best for him and if it is Buffalo I'll be doing cartwheels.

It's obviously between the leafs and Sabres in my opinion .. But the pressure of him playing in front of his hometown might lead him here

you never know the Montréal Canadiens might come out of nowhere and grab him but do I see him signing with the rivals I don't know PK is there and we all know that relationship

gorges has done well playing above his ideal role as a second-pairing d-man...the point about him was that Toronto fans and media were butt-hurt after gorges shunned the center of the hockey universe for buffalo...plain and simple
