We have a d corps with question marks in Pedan, Larssen, and to some extent Tryamkin with limited flexibility with what we can do with them.

I think they tried to move FC last season, without any takers, before waiving him...

JB has to make some moves, can't be going in with this d corps.

Stuck with what we have? Larson, pedan, Tree, stercher. All new to the team. Out. Bart, Weber and Hamhuis. That's a fair bit of turnover

Should've happened by now I'd think. Babcock clearly wasn't a last minute decision by either party. Neither is Stamkos. Neither is Vesey to Boston. I suppose it's what can you prove?. I think the Leafs were so deep in Babcock (hello) that they had to agree with sending that pick before it went public

theres no where to put it there tho....Im sure the area around the useless strip where they have that old hotel and strip bar right by the patullo bridge could be had for a cheap price and demolished.

I agree, he did score 6 two years ago so 8 isn't a huge reach. I hope they pair him and Hutton together and find another guy to pair with Edler.

Thats my ultimate hope for this off season aside from a Stamkos signing.

Edler-RFA (package deal which includes Sbisa,McCann +)
Hutton-Tanev (i liked how they played together this year)
Tryamkin- Pedan (For big teams, nobody would mess with goalies)
Larson (for smaller teams and injuries)

Not sure about the Tanev Hutton pairing. Tanev is your top shut down guy so he'd be lined up against the toughest opposition. Probably want to shelter Hutton from that at this point in his career.

He was playing top line for alot this year and wasnt bad so second line i think he could handle, Tanev is a good shutdown guy id just prefure more offense from the top line, and if Edler had an offensive partner i think it would push him to more success
