The aluminum days sucked. I destroyed so many on those things. I went back to wood for a while. Now carbon fibre all the way. If you want your kids to have strong wrists the start them with wood. |

I don't think Subban is too popular in the room. - hillbillydeluxe

Except Hull was doing that with those old aluminum sticks - YeOldTimer
Hull also did it with 67 flex all wood sticks as well before the aluminum revolution took over. |

Hall would be a mistake to trade, but whatever. And in regards to his attitude, I'd be pissed too. A revolving door of coaches since being drafted, consistently the worst team in the NHL. Poor development, not supplying him with any players of top 6 veteran caliber, or defense or goaltending....
Move him and your left side looks a little bit like an bottom 6 left wing line up.
Benoit Pouliot
Patrick Maroon
Lauri Korpikoski
Matt Hendricks |

true.....and difficult for the judges to pick as well.
tkachuk vs Dubois for our #5...dubois can be #1C according to projections in SR and compare to jamie benn. But his totals are not even close to tkachuk who has serious finish. Tkachuk also has great playoffs historically. Probably ready in 1 yr or less. Dubois will take a few and likely many to reach potential. Given his ability at centre and comparison to Benn do we take him or tkachuk?
If we can get flames or oilers picks we can maybe get both of course. If oilers pick joulevi that is - SMBDragon
I think these are relevant for sure but I still think you need to look at them in context. First of all comparing scoring from one league to another is tricky.
The top scorers in the OHL scored quite a bit more and Tkachuk ranks 5th among them with his two line mates at 2 and 3. The top scorers in the Q don't score nearly as much and Dubois ranks 3rd with his line mates 10th and 19th.
They both are clearly the best draft eligible player in their leagues but to say that Dubois's point totals are not even close to Tkachuk's is disingenuous when you look at how each player performs to his peers.

I think we should draft Nylander.. then make a big trade with Toronto to get the other Nylander. Replace the Swedish brothers with Swedish brothers. Think about it. |
