He was waiting for all the hype with Richards and then he grabbed Leino, why I don't know. Some players are better in the systems they are in and when you sign them to a big contract, sometimes it doesn't work out.

I was told before that during practice Lindy kept moving Leino around and he looked over to the person my uncle is friends with and he said " No matter where I put him (Leino ), he still F$$KIN Stinks" .

Fleury is in fact a good player. We could him for free if we wanted him. Just look at how disposable these guys are - Fleury goes down and a rookie steps in and rips it up. It happens just about every year. This is why the Bills aren't going anywhere any time soon - you can't over-value players at certain positions.

I used to work for Pesci's, now Brando's on the corner of Oliver and Robinson and people who lived on Ruie or North used to order from us and get it delivered. I'm like why the (frank) are you calling us, don't you know a better place is like right down the street? Rumor is Calgary offered Bennett in a package for Murray at the deadline and we're basically told he's untouchable. Who knows? What is clear is MAF is a really good goaltender ( borderline HOF ) and the only reason the pens would consider moving him is because they love Murray.... The list of "flash in the pan" goalies that won the cup is a LOT longer than the list of top goalies that won the cup. Of all of the top goalies you listed only one has a cup (and Boston regrets overpaying to sign him).

I am fine with Lehner or 20 other goalies being in my net. I'd be fine with Fleury in my net. I wouldn't give up anything to get him.

I would laugh if CGY offered Bennett straight up for Murray let alone in a package for him. That sounds ridiculous. There had to me more coming from Pitt.

Casey Bailey was the Toronto guy I was thinking of, but I think my point stands though. We have been pitching UFA's on Buffalo for a while now and have yet to land any. Sure, they might have personal reasons for signing with other towns, but hey we were sold that, "Pegula always gets his man," so fare he's at least 0-5.
