That might explain why Gary is so tall and David is my height.

Gary and David, that sounds like my house. Do you have a Grant and Scott as well?

Seriously though. Am I the youngest one here? Besides Vantels alter ego.

I am 30, so if your younger then that, maybe. Though Phucker seems to be like 10, so who knows.

He played quite a bit on the top line in Buffalo I think. Inflated stats for sure. Here we would be a bust

Hence we should trade him now. He is not worth protecting at expansion draft, and an expansion team would take a player like him.

I am not against trading any player for the right return...

Even if we took a little less to get something for him i would, though minimum would be a mid-high 2nd + a 3rd or 4th

EDIT: I could see WPG willing to give their 2nd + maybe a 3rd or 4th for him. I could also see him waiving to go there.

I think Hansen has to supply a list of so many teams, I'd guess the Jets would be one of them.

I wonder what JB would prefer as a return? picks or a player?

Only way he goes for a player is in a package. We would likely only target one of Myers/Trouba from them.

I liked Old Timers idea the other day , the package trade to CBJ. I would go for a prospect better than Reichel.

a bigger transaction would be interesting and could really change things up.

I guess, like everyone on here, I expect JB to be busy this off season.

Old Timers idea of making a deal with a team feeling the cap crunch makes sense too.

I don't think the ownership wants to keep missing the playoffs and struggle to fill the seats. expecting some bold moves.

Rangers are another team also looking for cap relief. They don't have prospects or draft picks. I would imagine a very good player like McDonagh Stepan or Brassard could be had for the right deal

I would guess NY would be a desirable move, the big apple and original 6 team, for most... ntc or not.

It would be nice to swap for a Dman and a Centre.

The thing about the CBJ deal was the Canucks would get better right away while at the same time getting younger. They would be able to avoid adding UFA'S like Ericsson, Lucic and Yandle. In 3 years when Virtanen and Horvat are ready to physically dominate they will be the leaders. There won't be old guys around holding them back.
