Iike Drouin but I'd prefer Dubois or Tcachuk, physical first line forwards. I think TA would ask for more so it won't and shouldn't happen

I know, thats what makes him tempting to try and acquire. He has that gamebreaker capability but the cost is certainly going to be higher than what Van can afford to move. Fair comparison or not, I see Sven as a Drouin-lite, which will be sufficient for the time being, though its fun to dream a little of a Drouin-Horvat or Drouin-McCann line

if you recall, i was calling for a Drouin trade and for JB to make the necessary moves to get him when the price was (in hindsight) at its lowest. Horvat for Drouin is a trade that you make.

I agree, maybe Stamkos does them a solid and allows a sign and trade but I think we see him hit the market this off-season.

Moving Johnson and Drouin is the other moves they could make IMO.

I know some people aren't high on him and I'm not sure if I want him at 33 but I do believe someone is going to get a really good player in him.

he could still turn out, but I think missing a good chunk of last season and likely missing training time this summer, he could benefit from more time in jr. and then the AHL.

I'm not sold on Ronning but if he is still there in the 4th round that would be great.

I do agree that Benson will benefit from another year in junior and AHL. I think he is this years Barzal but will fall further.
