A number of things. Ryan is good not great.

Silvferbeg is a good young player, scored 20 goals and is one of the better defensive forwards in the game, and the pick evened up being 10th overall I believe and they got Nick Ritchie. Stefan Noesen hasn't done anything yet but he's just getting his shot.

Not to mention that Ryan needed a new deal, which now he's overpaid and on the brink of 30

I wouldn't mind both of them on the roster next year. They are not doing anything in the playoffs, so give them some time in the NHL.

Risto, Bogo, McCabe, Gorges, Nelson, and Guhle.

If Pysyk is wanted in a trade, that is fine. If not, Pysyk in the lineup and Guhle as number 7. But if Guhle is number 7, might be better to be in Rochester.

I did not realize Silvferberg was a good two way player. I just knew he did not produce at Ryan's pace as a Duck. That is why I thought it was an OK trade.

Do we know that he does? It looks like he's smuggling a 12 year old inside his jacket. He looks much the same from the neck up, but when you can rest your arms on your gut it's time to put the fork down.

Im sure if thats the case, like Grigorenko or Zadorov, he should probably just do his time in Jr's. That would be a lot of youth on the blue line.

I don't think Guhle is eligible for the AHL next year. I think he has to either stay with the Sabres or go back to Junior.

He will turn 19 in July and I think you are correct

trading away those pieces to Anaheim actually open the door for Stone and hoffman it was actually a really good trade
