He's a 24 year old former first rounder who still can't take a proper angle to the puck, doesn't have the ability to catch up to defenders who fly around him, has insufficient strength to deny attackers the crease, or clear them from it, and generates "serviceable" stats against low-quality competition.

Every player outside of Eichel, Reinhart, O'Reilly, and Risto should be on the table to make this team better.

All I'm trying to say is that he helps drive possession, and against weaker competition he's pretty useful. Based on his abilities and shortcomings, he's a decent #5. Do we need him? No. I just think putting him in Mike Weber zone is a little over the top.

Adding a healthy Ennis makes this team better. You are adding a 20 goal scorer with room to grow. Thats my point. Hes already a member of this team, Knows the system, is well liked... Moving ennis for help on defense is one thing but to move him for a guy like teravainen, who MIGHT end up better than ennis doesnt make sense to me. At least not right now..

Which is funny because Risto had the worst possession numbers of any D man on the team, yet they don't say a word

Because they need to shed salary and the only way to move a Bickell is to include a player like Teuvo type player unfortunately.
