I mean I always like to root against Crosby...but would it hurt our chances if Stamkos gets to the Cup finals? - feetontheair22
If he wins a cup, he may be more apt to bolting.
or
If they lose the ECF or the SCF in 6 or 7 games, maybe he signs a one yr deal to give it one more go around. Still keeps him young enough to sign a mega deal.

I understand the logic, but I have a feeling that Stamkos has pretty much made up his mind whether or not he's leaving by now (no idea which one it is), and I'm not sure the results of Tampa Bay's season will swing it one way or the other.
That being said, Pittsburgh in 6. What Tampa has done with their injuries has been remarkable, but they also have drawn the two softest opponents you could hope for in their position.
