Do leaf fans and oiler fans get together to come up with the script? B/c you may want to consult them for your inevitable disappointment.
Don't worry though, you guys won the lottery. Nothing but clear skies and smooth sailing from here on out. Just ask the oiler fans that have been giving a version of your posts for the last few years. - RealityChecker
Their obsession with everything Canuck is quite cute. |

Leafs get brought up in this thread all the time from Canucks fans for some reason. |

Nothing worse than an embarrassing team with a sense of entitlement. It must be frustrating for them to watch good hockey knowing their team hasn't played well for a lifetime. |

I read for the second day in a row about Col probably moving Barrie. If it was possible to swap firsts and aquire Barrie it could be interesting.
With the 10 th pick I would take Srgachev. For Free Agents I would look at tough guy Gryba who can be had for 1 mil per.
That would give Canucks a nice mix of D .
Reliable: Edler Tanev
PMD: Barrie Hutton Larsen
Big Stay at home : Tryamkin
The Shot : Larsen Sergachev
Tough guy Gryba Pedan. |

Speaking of entitlement and superiority complexes, apparently we have to run the potential topics through their vetting process to see if we are worthy of discussing said topics. |

The fact that #4(EDM) & #5(VAN) Both covet this kind of player will make it even more interesting. JB vs Chia pet. |

I think there is no doubt we have holes everywhere. We have Rodin coming in this year , and Boeser next year. No guarantees but hopeful. Fix the D |

Barrie would help either team right away. Price will be high and there will be tons of bidders. Draft day deal perhaps. Also worthy to note Sakic & Linden have a good relationship. One would think there have been conversations. That's a big stones deal. |

Just listened to Botch from yesterday's Moj Bmac & Donnie show. He said, after listening to Linden & Benning, the Canucks have always lacked the depth you're seeing the final four teams have, an area they're going to try and address but it takes time build that.
He also said if they have any hope of competing for a playoff spot next year they're going to need to acquire three or four more guys who are much more talented than what they've currently got in their top nine forwards.
Which I completely agree with! Signing one UFA is pretty pointless, say Eriksson, you still lack any real talent behind the Sedins once again...same old story. |

If we keep the pick and Dubois is available, you have to take him. |

I have been consistent about moving out three Burrows Higgins Hamhuis and bringing in three. |

You are going to get a good player in top 10 anyways in this years draft. Tkachuk Dubois Sergachev. I am not fussy |

Yeah, yeah you're right. I mean, with your winning model and all your cups, I'm downright jealous - domi_legend
U were not alive when i saw the '67 Leafs win their last cup.
When 4 of 6 teams make the playoffs n only 2 rds to win it is an ient history.
Live in the present would ya & suck it up.
Its old & stale & of no value citing cup wins from an era so long ago.
The present 49 yr run of futility is unmatched...say no more. |
