You have to understand, we're at the point where people are going to say that Stamkos might not be a 1st liner anymore. Just wait for it, someone will say it between now and July

Worse case, they can sign 3 players if they don't get him. Good to have options.

I'm going to have to disagree and we have the opportunity to sign one of the top snipers To ov in the NHL I really don't want to miss out people thought ov was Decreasing but he proved everyone wrong and I think Stamkos will do the same and he's younger .

Just think about those beautiful passes That jack has been sending to his teammates but they miss every time with Stamkos there's no missing we have the opportunity to have a 50 to 60 goal scorer on the team that crazy to think about

He had a rough year in Ottawa, his stats on taht team are garbage based on how ottawa plays...put him with a good partner (or just away from Chris Phillips) and look at what happens. Stick it to the sens one last time

He's better than Eichel is right now. He's 2x the player Reinhart is and probably ever will be. He's a lot better than O'Reilly who we are all (not sarcastic) really impressed with.

I dont see it either, but it wouldnt be shocking to see them talk. Avs were hot for Bogo before he was traded in the Kane deal.

Barrie, 10th + other crap for Bogo, 8th + other crap would be the deal I see happening if anything. Its more of a trade of getting players you want vs getting players to need to fill the void at the moment

If the 2 teams are talking, It would be a larger deal. Especially if the Avs are really hot and bothered for a guy that they think they cant draft at 10.

8th overall, Bogo, Foligno(or someone similar) for Barrie and a draft pick, prob 2017 1st (dont think they give up the 10th this year). Something along those lines

No one can see the future, so not signing a guy bc of what MIGHT happen to come along down the line doesn't make sense to me.
