I've already PM'd Makita. She will be dealt with. |

From other thread...easier said than done though Vantel. You're competing against 29 other teams for services. What does Vancouver have to offer other than money? Chances of winning are slim, it rains all winter so the nice city thing is pretty irrelevant, the schedule dictates massive amounts of travel. - LeftCoaster

You guys are a tough crowd as you go through your playoff withdrawal.
It's an NHL.com article that just haaaaaappened to show up on the TML website. First thing that popped up when I Googled.
There isn't a "hangs head in shame" emoji, is there?

You have to replace them. You have the money and you have the openings. There are not 29 other teams with 20 mil in cap space. - VANTEL
You don't have to replace them, this team is not competing for the playoffs, we're a bottom 10 team and will be for the next few years. Any quick fix will blow up in our face just like it has in Toronto. |

It's too bad Brouwer has just priced himself out of the Canucks market. He's the exact type of player the Canucks would love to have |

We'll add that to the list along with the praying emoji, the head exploding emoji and the projectile vomiting emoji.
Thanks for all of your hard work! |

I was only joking...any time I can express my complete disdain for the Leafs organization I do. I like the guys who like the Leafs, for the most part, just hate the team. |

Ya they don't have enough depth even with Stammer. He'd be more of a longer term solution to the Sedins leaving though, as in a seven year deal.
Realistically there's zero chance he wants to join a rebuilding team though, unless it's his hometown. - LeftCoaster
Yup he has much better options than the Canucks. We need some of these BC kids to start wanting to come home and play for the Canucks. Johansen, Benn etc.
With the topic of Depth. If you look at all the remaining teams in the playoffs they all have 3 lines who can legit score. They are also loaded with prospects they have developed. |

Blues would be wise to sign him to an extension. He fits there really nicely. |

Sorry Carol, to me Bonino is a modern day BJ MacDonald. - VanHockeyGuy
I would go with more of a John Druce or maybe even a little Bickell.
But he is performing!

Takes time to get to that position, give Benning three more years and I suspect I'll like where the team's sitting. |

1 year 5 mill then trade him at the deadline. I know benning wont make moves like this but if we can sign a few guys to 1 year deasl like the devils and leafs did last year then move them at the deadline it would greatly speed up the stock piling of prospects. |

I just hope the rumors of FA getting involved arent true. I think JB would be great to have for a true rebuild due to his drafting. I just feel that when so many reported that JB wanted a full rebuild and ownership said make the playoffs it might really F things up. |

Whats the latest on Bishop?
I thought the team's twitter account was far to quick to announce nothing was wrong that could not be fixed in the short term in an era when deception in the playoffs is rampant.

So, we'll be getting a good prospect at #5 if we retain the pick.
Nothing more, nothing less. It's nothing to get overly excited about and it sure doesn't make up for the torture of being so bad this season. |

I believe Linden when he says he's free to run the hockey operations. |
