I love the people defending her because of the fog, dark and rain. Is that why she was driving so fast she ended up 30M into the water? - golfingsince

None of those guys are going to have 250 pts before they're 25. This report covers 10 years, I can see most of those guys getting to 250 in 10 years. - A_SteamingLombardi
Really? The 2011 draft class is now 23 years old...
Scheifele (7th) has 145 points and just had a 60 point year, he'll be at 200 after next year which he'll play as a 23 year old.
Zibanegad (6th) has 151 points and just had a 51 point season, he'll be at 200 after next year which he'll play as a 23 year old.
Couturier (8th) has 157 points and just had a 39 point year, he'll be around 200 after next year which he'll play as a 23 year old.
Nikita Kucherov and Brandon Saad (2nd rnd) have 148 & 179 points each. |

You don't have to replace them, this team is not competing for the playoffs, we're a bottom 10 team and will be for the next few years. Any quick fix will blow up in our face just like it has in Toronto. - A_SteamingLombardi
This overused quick fix attitude is getting tedious & boring.
Its depth & quality being added smartly.
Using a Leafs comparison out of the blue boggles the mind.
We need good vets if others r gone.
Every year is a playoff push & nothing to do with the negative crowd of 1 n done.
Maybe ppl knocking vets moving on & replaced with UFA's oughta show us their idea of a line up of kids & undeveloped players that r left over. |

Higgins to Utica & Martin in 2.5/3yrs 27yrs old n a big banger
Burrows makes the team or to Utica or a waiver pick up.
Brouwer or Eriksson & Stamkos r debatable |

1 year 5 mill then trade him at the deadline. I know benning wont make moves like this but if we can sign a few guys to 1 year deasl like the devils and leafs did last year then move them at the deadline it would greatly speed up the stock piling of prospects. - mauryballstein
Now this is a great idea. Luv itππ»ππ»
A side discussion for after the the 1yr deal needs to happen.
Signing good UFA's with the intentions of making the playoffs is a very good start.
If it goes South the UFA knows they get another shot. |

Benning would be stupid not to offer a random and at least try. Stamkos is an elite player they don't grow on trees. 7 years to build around an elite center is a no brainer. |

Yup, throw 10 million per year at him for seven years and see how he feels! What have you got to lose. |

A back up goalie at 6 mil
A second line centre at 10 mil
A fourth line winger at 4.5
And a number 7 Dman at 3.6

Now we're on to something.
For real now.... when determining cap space. Sutter's new deal kicks in next year correct? So his cap jumps another shmill or so. If Burr gets bought out, doesn't a % still count vs the cap? The hit will be for 2 years as well, even tho he has 1 year left. I wonder if it's worth it. Or if we have the room (both cap and roster) keep him and move him at deadline (yes that would mean making a TDL deal for once). Eat as much salary as we can to get deal done.
This no hockey thing tonight is killing me. I'm watching soccer.... |

On what Planet is Stamkos a second line center behind Henrik? He's your number one center which allows Hank and Dany to be where they should be, on the second line. |

You have gone from no quick fixes at Breakfast to a 70 million dollar contract at dinner. I guess you ate your Snickers |

So it will be Daniel Stamkos Hansen as top line ? Cool , Henrik will love that. |

Your best scorers are your top line. Hansen and Danny are your top scoring wingers. They are at this time your two best so don't put Stamkos with Sven and JV and call it your new top line. |

Haha...I've said repeatedly I hope they don't sign anyone 30 or over, Stamkos is 26, feel free to look back. |

Not at all. I am asking Lefty how did he go from no quick fixes to give Stamkos a 70 mil contract in 8 hours?
Nothing more. I don't care if Stamks signs. |
