If you sign Stamkos, you trade Horvat(unpopular yes) for either a good defenceman or Drouin.
Put Drouin beside Stamkos and lucic, buy out burrows.

Before another poster says stop talking about it how about start talking about which team can afford him & where it then makes sense he might sign. Back up your opinion is all thats needed. On here we opine & suggest wil stuff but always best to pose a move and why or who than just say get rid of X & Y without who comes in.

Who has 10m+ cap space & in better position to get Stamkos?
Cannot think of any contender fitting that criteria.
Therefore a team on the rise or a team not far away from being a playoff team year in year out. I'd say the Canucks fit that situation.
