He's just a guy who's around hockey and sharing rumors he has heard and wants to keep it (his identity) on the DL....not sure why you and the bird fella starting kicking the internet poop out of him.

Edmonton is an anomaly.... things will turn around next year..

but i hate when people refer to the Edmonton model... it might be a joke right now but in 3-4 years when they win a cup everyone will be praising it.. just a few unnecessary bumps in the road due to bad management. Oil fans know this.

The Edmonton model is terrible. 3 biggest errors the Oilers made:
1. Put too many kids that weren't ready to be top players in that role too soon and
Failed to insulate kids with proper NHL leadership. ( not just vets, but vets that can get it done at a high level).
2. Coaching carousel
3. Failed to address defense at the early stages.

I was offered a job scoutning locally for the red wings; and then it turned into a full time postion working with Kenny and Steve....so F$##$ off

they still burned the (frank)ing thing to the ground.. Just don't do what NYR and PHI do... Once your stars start to slow down and you dont have Pavelskis and Coutures to take on more of a role you end up in a bad place..

It is weird when faceless strangers on a website forum start to figure out your identity. It was weird just reading you two PIs going to work.

No matter what they do with the roster, it's still going to be a bad place.

If you do t add those pieces you're gonna expect Willy Nylly , Marner and Mathews to carry the load as young players. You have JVR, add Stamkos and find an elite 2 way get and you're set up front.
