They only list 17, teams have to have way more than that, maybe he's a scout for their farm team.

I WAS a scout in 2004-2006; I havent worked in that Capcity since. I am employed through the red wing organization; my Formal title is Player Liason; I reported to Jiri Fischer up until last year; my title is still currently player Liason; with the new Re-Org thats going on I am still awaiting to see if I report to anyone

Guy gets a form letter from his kids' principal - school policy is that when you pull your kids out of school, it goes on their record. Apparently absenteeism affects funding of individual schools.

The guy - Mike Rossi - writes a letter and posts it on his Facebook page (doesn't actually mail it) saying that he respectfully disagrees, as his kids learned more about history, geography, perserverence, etc. in Boston than they would have learned in school.

Letter goes viral. Rossi goes on Good Morning America.

Then the whispers start. People suggest he cheated to qualify.

It's picked up by a running site: letsrun.com

Their message boards are hilarious, but wow you gotta wear your franking helmet.

They internet sleuth - examine his entire running history, every single photo from the race, conclude there is no way he ran it. Marathon has only a start and finish electronic mat to chart your progress.

But rather than admit it, Rossi decides to deny everything. Apparently he is a minor ex-celebrity in Philly - once hosted a local tv dance show. Kelly Ripa was a dancer.

The original marathon has an investigation. Issues statement - we don't think he ran it, but can't prove it.

Rossi declares victory. Letsrun loses its poop.

The site owners offer hom $200,000 if he can run same time again. He never responds.

And then it really snowballs. Rossi sends a cease and desist letter to somone. His lawyer has a compuserve or aol email address. Months ofvlaughs.

Then some dude starts really chirping him on letsrun - turns out it is a rival wedding DJ in Philly, who just so happens to weigh 400 lbs.

He provides excitement until it is revealed he cheated 80 couples out of wedding videos - was sued by the state AG.

Best part: Rossi pulled some strings, and set up the fatman on a fake Inside Edition gameshow where they confronted him for not giving the videos to the couples.

There were also weird allegations that one poster mu4dered a child in the 1970s, a Twitter fight with a Philly weather woman, frank, I could go on and on.
