If I recall he had to miss practice to get questioned because the girl went to the hospital. He also missed practice because of the All star game. Both were from incidents off the ice. I'd say that fits the definition just fine.
He obviously didn't commit a serious crime. But I don't remember this sort of thing happening to everyone. The dude has a serious knack for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Drouin wanted to play, he wasn't, so he wanted to go somewhere he could. You can debate whether the trade demand and AHL holdout was right or wrong, what can't be debated was his reasoning, which was wanting to be on the team. Kane routinely does things that jeopardizes him being on any team - sbroads24

Drouin plays no defense lazy game, gets demoted.
Drouin demands trade refuses to report.
Drouin loses weeks of salary.
Drouin gets no trade.
Drouin reports to Syracuse, plays 200 foot game. Hustles.
Drouin promoted to TB.
TB still has Drouin contract rights, and a more developed player.
And we're saying the kid won that showdown???

It's not about "winning" any showdown. Both sides (frank)ed up royally here. The holdout merely kept the Lightning from having to answer for their mistake.
Broads is right. Jonathan Drouin had zero business in the AHL. It was a gross mismanagement of talent, and not the Lightning's first. They screwed up with Brett Connolly as well.

you can't expect scorers to thrive in 3rd/4th line roles
I am always amazed when a prospect with skill is called up, teams plug him on the 4th line instead of giving them a shot on the second line, where they were drafted to eventually play

The best teams figure out how to put players in a position to do what they do best. Tampa, right now, has an embarrassment of riches up front, but it will be interesting to see where they are when they have to pay all these guys. It's going to be a Chicago-like exodus, and with the way Cooper and Yzerman manage their young players, I don't foresee a Chicago-like rebound, regardless if Stamkos re-signs there or not.
Thank God I have CBC in High Definition. Otherwise, it would be unbearable. Sportsnet's takeover of Hockey Night in Canada leaves a lot to be desired, but it is still much better than NBC on a nightly basis.

I can honestly say i am not a fan of having to watch a game on anything but MSG... that's prolly a bit biased but well i admit it
Watkins has a broken foot and ur #1 pick has a bum shoulder
poor Bills fans...I feel almost lucky our biggest issue is whether or not we'll sign Fitz - feetontheair22
What about Wilkerson ? The future of the QB position ? Rb ? Brandon Marshall isn't getting any younger do you have his replacement ? More issues then you let on but I was pleasantly surprised on how well they did last year. Think you have a great head coach in Bowles though

Guy that writes for the Sabres on the Fourth Period has ROR, Eichel and Larsson as out top 3 centers. I thought the savior was suppose to be in the top 6 ?
