Looks like Quincey will be out in Detroit. I wouldn't mind having him be a nice stabilizing force on the 2nd/3rd pair if we're unable to make a big move. At something like a Franson deal.

I'm fairly confident that it would work out fine, and I'm sure Murray would have to be to make the deal as well. Really the only case I can think of not being able to switch sides is Franson, and he's a special case because of his anchor feet.

From an outside view I wouldn't mind it either, but most Detroit fans seem to hate him like he's their Mike Weber. Not sure on him.

I meant you've been gone too long to realize it can and does snow in early to mid May here. I'm not saying we get any accumulation, but if the air aloft is cold enough even if it's in the upper 30's to about 40 at ground level, like today it'll snow. I saw literally 2 flakes today. I remember the year we signed Mario Williams it was like 80+ degrees for almost a week in early March, and then it was snowing 2 weeks later. I needed AC. In March. In Buffalo. Spring in Buffalo is crazy.

Can't see what reason Carolina would have to move him other than having some good D prospects. Maybe the target is someone like Fluery. They are light at forward

imo, way, way too much for a offensive-minded/powerplay d-man with issues in his own zone...he scored 31 goals over the past two seasons, 19 on the powerplay...he was also a minus-41

I wish I could have a real winter, i miss them. I would take Buffalo's winter over Tampa's summer. If I remember correctly Christmas was in the high 80's here and the summer is just so insanely humid I don't know how anybody could enjoy it. It's hard to breath here because it's so humid. I can't wait to get back up north.
