Of course it is but what would you expect carolina to ask for when trading their best player. For a team that wants to make the playoffs next year it cant be scraps going back - Wissler
then he stays in Carolina...the sabres had the 12th best powerplay in the league last season without the so-called "powerplay quarterback"...i'm not sure i'd even want to give away this year's 8th overall pick for faulk

Agreed. Go for ryan ellis he would be much cheaper and maybe better solution to the blue line.

Can anyone think of an example of a true pp qb that was a defenseman? There are plenty of D that are good with the puck - I can't think of anyone in today's game where I would think that the pp ran through them. This could more of a symptom of the overall degradation of the game from where it was 25 year ago (not to sound like get-off-my-lawn guy).

karlsson, burns, letang, pk
yandle to a lesser extent - homiedclown
Yeah, that's probably the list. They exist but they are certainly few and far between. I think more fall into the realm of a guy like Campbell - they can carry the puck up ice but they aren't a true playmaker once inside the zone. That's why I think this whole idea of a pp qb is a waste of time.
Can Odor skate? Maybe we can find a place for him on the fourth line?
EDIT: PLEASE don't tell me Odor stinks. - Der Kaiser
that was a helluva right that connected...gotta hand it to bautista, at 35 he took it and remained on his feet...definitely dazed, but remained upright
