I don't think that was at the deadline, but was a huge trade for LA of course.

5x4. It's a reasonable chunk of change for a top 4 guy and as long as he stays within the top 4 during those 4 years, fine. Takes him up to 35. He doesn't play a very aggressive game so his body should last.

Our pipeline stinks.

Guhle is still a prospect, albeit a good looking one.. he's 1-2 years out. The rest of them, if they even make it, are at least like 2-3 years out from making an impact. Really hoping we pick a D if we stay at 8.. that's 2 Dmen that will be ready in 1-2 years. So I think you might be looking for a guy for 2-3 years.

If we are going to have any chance at making the playoffs he needs to equal or exceed the year he had last year. I think its possible as long as he doesn't get thirty injuries again. We have some of the worst depth in the league at the position despite what the ultimate manipulator Whaley will tell you we need Sammy
