Not wishing at all.
But, for $11M he better be scoring 50+. If he doesn't, your team is effec

Just pictured Jack just passing those passes to Stamkos and him not missing an open net .. I can guarantee if those two would be together Stamkos have a great year

So you're telling me just because he's not a good team he's not going to succeed ?
You're not talking about Thomas Vanick here I'm pretty sure Stamkos can carry himself he was doing it before we not much help .

I'm not trying to insult you but I remember back in the day where the WGR guys said Ovechkin was done and a lot of people on this site and other media outlets I guess they were wrong right ..

I know 26 is old but not that old

- GERBE!!!75PTS

Not what I meant. Just that he hasn't had a year like he did when he was putting up 80 point years. He's a great player but by time his contract ends he'll be 33. Not old but also not saying he's going to be able to keep scoring 30 + goals.

I'd still love to have Stamkos but because we signed O'Riley to that huge contract which I'm fine with it might be difficult for us.

The way I see it...

Eichel > Matthews
Marner > Reinhart
Rieley > Guhle
Ristolainen > Gardiner
O'Riley > Kadri
Nylander > Bailey

If they get Stamkos they are obviously going to be looking better than us but I do think there's a possibility it might not work out. Look at Brad Richards in NYR

True .. I'm going to say people are going to be wrong and Stamkos will be back
- GERBE!!!75PTS

So, let's Offersheet Kucherov for just under $7.3 for 7 years .... And really F the Bolts. Either we get him since they will be in a tough spot to sign Stammer and all other FA's and match That Offersheet.
At under $7.3 then it only cost one each of 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Not bad for a 22 year old 30 goal scorer...only 6 less than Stammer and $3.7 less so we can invest that into a LHD

Eichel is seen as the better player/prospect

Marner has yet to be determined if he's better than Reinart either but I'm just going off of what he's done in juniors versus Reinhart. Those two are close but I think most people think Marner will be the better player. Ditto for Eichel being better than Matthews.

Is Risto better than Rielly? Offensively it would seem close. Rielly has a year on Risto

I hope Reinhart is better than Marner but he's tearing it up right now (granted that's in OHL) He's also never played a game in the NHL so we'll see if his skill translates. Reinhart is very, very good. But it seems like Marner has more of an offensive skill set and possibly faster?

definitely faster and will score more points but Reinharts two way game is unreal.

Is size a question mark?

Or like Reinhart, spend one more year in development to work on that?

He is in the middle of that stupid transfer rule. NHL or Juniors.

If you ask people who they think is better Patrice Bergeron or Taresenko they will probably say Taresenko because he's more skilled and offensively gifted. Even though Bergeron is offensively gifted and an incredible two way player. Taresenko gets more accolades. I don't know if that's a fair comparison but it makes sense to me. We need a dynamic offensively gifted and fast winger like Marner badly would make our top six complete IMO

I honestly think Reinhart is going to be a very good, very unspectacular player. We need another star forward better than him

I think Reinharts potential max's out at a Patrice Bergeron type player. Guy that makes out around 65 points a year and is a steady two way presence. Yes we need a skilled star winger to play with Eichel still... whether that's Nylander in the draft or trading for a Eberle, Skinner, Hall, Perry etc. It NEEDS to happen
