I was really surprised how this board didn't rag on Lehner during the season. Most changed his mind about him after plenty of Preseason prejudice. Even after a bad game or two. Not willing to call him a bubble boy yet, seeing as his leg injury wasn't even healed yet. Here's to hoping we've got a healthy Robin for the start of the season, see what he can really do.

His play shut us all up, had only a couple of stiinkers...then in the post season blogs the commentary went right back to he stinks and GMTM overpaid.

I was willing to give him the balance of the season to get his game back before making a judgement...having done so, I think they got decent value...IF he stays healthy.

Agreed. He is a decent goalie, young , big, has some goalie sense. Anyone else could have been worse.

Total contracts for those expiring is roughly 13 million, Legwand and Foligno being the bulk of it combining for 5.75M last season. Still lots of space, but if they get Stamkos that space is eaten up
