The only trade I see for #1 is packaged to move up. Ennis, Pysyk #8 for Edmonton's #4. They get a defenseman for now and can draft another at 8, and getting Ennis allows them to deal Yak for other pieces. Benefits both teams and frees up an additional 5.7m in cap space to add a defenseman for the Sabres. - adambuffalo
Not sure how this really benefits us? Tkachuk is the guy at #4, and yeah, would love to have him, but is his value really that much more than the combination of who the #8 would be Nylander/du Brois/Joulevi + Ennis + pysyk?
I would stick with taking the best winger available at #8 and use Pysyk, Girgensons, Ennis, Foligno, 2017 1st, additional picks/prospects in some form a package to land a legit #2 LHD. |

I have a few of pairs of those shorts myself. Currently in a one year relationship and even before that didn't have a problem getting girls and I'm 21. - Pegullaville
What color ones do you have Abercrombie or express or American Eagle
I love the express ones but the American Eagle ones are my favorite but they tear to easily if you fall and I always try to get one with a belt that's always a plus for me |

Not exactly related, but still food - our family used to get takeout from Scirri's all the time. I remember getting the Ziti Broccoli most of the time myself...hold the broccoli. |

To think I used to defend him with my friends when we had a fight I used to say when he gets a number one center he would score 50 goals and the only reason why is because he's injured because he's a warrior
I wish I could go back in time and punch myself in the face - GERBE!!!75PTS
You weren't wrong. He never did get a 1C when he was in his prime and he scored 43 as a second year player, granted that team was stacked, but he still managed to score 40 with Derek Roy two years later. This is the first year he's ever failed to score at least 20 goals. His previous low was 20 goals in 38 games in the lockout year of 12-13. There have been years where he's only played 71 games and still scored 28 goals. If he had been able to play 80+ games this year he might have done it. 10 consecutive 20+ goal seasons is pretty damn good; I don't care who you are. He's tied for 117th all-time in goals per game with Sergei Fedorov who was a "pretty good" player. He's ahead of Jeff Carter, Patrick Kane, James Neal, Joe Pavelski, and yes, Phil Kessel.
The warrior part is a bit iffy. He did stand in front of the net and get the poop kicked out of him every night. He just refused to actually skate up ice in a timely fashion. Or backcheck. So, while I dislike using war references for a kids game(hockey and football players do not "go into battle" to play a (frank)ing kids game. That is one of the most absurd things I've ever heard and I groan every time I hear it), yeah, I'd say he was a "warrior". |

Completely far-fetched scenario . Even if it happened they would keep both guys. |
