Looking at advanced stats, you'd be right. In fact, your *best* players were more often than not your worst players last night. Even after the game Hitch went after his top guys again. They are struggling BIG time.

Really? Struggling big time? Having difficulty excuting to be sure and in large part due to some good backchecking, some lax officiating, the bounces going the other way more times than not(which happens to every team from time to time think Sharks in game one), and just poor decision making which in part I am sure is influenced by the strong defensive olay by the Sharks.
All that said they controlled the play of the last game for the majority of the game. They had a ridiculous amount of puck possession. The Sharks positioned themselves well and availed their videoing scouting tremendously.
But the crap you guys are selling is bush league and has no place here.
If you suddenly lost two games in a row and say the Blues smoked the Sharks would you enjoy me ripping your team apart and putting you down? No? That is why you are being a poor sport and bordering on trolling.
No worries you will be ignored and this waste of time I am making in trying to talk some sense is akin to me going out and competing in the special olympics.
You know on this thread I am concerned with talking about the game from a Blues fan's perspective. Yet I have taken the time to spell out my qualifications of the Sharks just so you all would not be butt hurt or misunderstand and respond impolitely.
I do not need to qualify my remarks about the game from my concern for the one team. But you griped and groaned and have this strange desire and need for us to kiss your bums for the achievements for some pro athletes you pay to see and really could care less about you.
A lot of us here enjoy the pleasure of talking about the game and we sharebthe same desire as you to see the team we rooted for since we were young, well maybe not all of you were young and had a hockey team to root for, raise the Cup. So also like you we are full of nervous energy, living and dying in the moment with something we have absolutely no control over. Just as all humans do we seek create a narrative, to tell a story of what has transpired, and we try to do so to fit our world view so that life can go on yada yada. You know the same narrative where you somehow believe you and your families are safe and that the constant threat of some horrible thing happening to you or yours could happen at any moment and you would have no control over it as much as you might build a contrary narrative. It is just life and little we can control is things like how we treat one another. We all have our moments and get caught up and project whatever crappy day things have happened to us and when our teams are losing on here that will occur.
So just let it go. Even if you are right what does it gain you? No matter what you say or do this will be decided what for most are strangers on the ice. Some of us might know or have acquaintances on either team, but even then we can do nothing to change all of the hundreds of things going on.
I like to talk shop and tey to understand what is happening and why. I do so like almost everybody else on here with imperfect information. We try and read the tea leaves so we can somehow predict a future outcome that could be a team purely dominating a game and puck bouncing and a break away happening and in that instant can you always tell if a player did whatbthey meant to do and scored or the goaltender second guessed themselves or what not? Ah who knows?
To get this far both teams have had to find resolve to win their series and showed some character they had not displayed in past years. Some of it involved dumb luck, like a Seabrook shot hitting two posts and not going in or the Preds just missing a post or a call.
There series is 2-1. Stop afting like it is 3-0 and been full of blow outs.
