Elliott has proven over his career that he needs rest and cant handle 15 plus games in a row.
Not his fault we are down 2-1 but he might need a breather
The forwards being tired is on Hitch and the staff
In Games we had won handily he was still rolling the top 9 a lot and not using the fourth line much. - sycsam
Agree with this. It frustrated me then and it still frustrates me now. I'm not saying completely rest them but at least role 4 even lines and 3 even d pairings.

yes...G4 is must win for the blues...very few teams come back 3-1 to win. Hawks have been down 3-0 (1x) and 3-1 (4x)...all 5 series went to G7 but they only won vs detroit in 2013 and on to win the cup.
sharks play very robotic structured team game...they are not fast, or big or the most talented but they know how to play together...
you see games like last night all the time: blues come out strong can't get the puck in the net; sharks get a couple of transition odd mans and its 2-0...
2 goals in 3 games and 7 str periods of 0 goals....that will get a ones cranium - bogiedoc
No.
Every shiftnis a must win for every tam in the play offs. Unil you have four wins every game is a must win.
Your team has come back from being down 3-1 hw many times? The asharks have blown 3-0 series leads.
One guy mentioned how teams learn to adjust against teams this time of year. He was correct. |

I think it was a mistake to play Jaskin and Paajarvi last night
I know they didn't play much but with an upshall you can play him up and down the lineup to give certain guys more rest

Yes, *A* Sharks team blew *A* 3-0 lead, not 3-0 lead(s), to the team that won the Cup that year. Did it suck? Yes it did. Is this that Sharks team? No, it isn't. Everyone has always blamed Thornton, Marleua, etc. for those past playoffs failures, but many of those failures were due to A) No depth and B) Poor goaltending. This Sharks team is playing solid hockey as a unit and they are having a blast doing it. |

it`s a whole lot easier rolling 4 lines and 6 d when you`re playing with the lead. Admittedly, aside from these past few games, I haven`t followed the blues games very closely these playoffs, but always trying to play catch up and they`re inability to score recently might be the reason Hitch has shortened the bench. |

They won two games vs Dallas 6-1
The rest of their games have been relatively close affairs |

This team has shown a resolve that cant be compared to two years ago, not to mention the 10 new players, not even close. |

Upshall is injured. Paajarvi and Jaskin were some of the best players on the ice last game so I have to disagree. |

Looking at advanced stats, you'd be right. In fact, your *best* players were more often than not your worst players last night. Even after the game Hitch went after his top guys again. They are struggling BIG time. |

They'll put it together Saturday. Allen will be in net (Elliott needs a break) and come out strong. No offense to you the, but the Sharks are good, but they aren't this good. A win saturday makes this a best of 3 with home ice advantage. Just have to shut down the top line and get some goals. |

Sure bub "the Sharks are good but not that good". So the Blues must be letting the Sharks win? Maybe the Blues really arent a contender and were exposed, the Predators were a better team than the Blues imo... |

He didn't say that good, he said this good. There is a difference. They look awesome right now. They look unstoppable. But that isn't reality. They can be stopped. The Blues have to do much better, and the Sharks have to come back some. |

Same difference in the context of what was said. We lost 3 games last round. The only one that said unstoppable was you. |

And this is where you are more on the side of trolling than trying to converse.
This is shows you are enjoying coming onto another team's thread and relishing in the misery of others and saying things purposefully to get a rise. What would you call a person who does that? Kind? |
