Reading another blog, Eichel was brought up, so I thought I'd look him up and compare him to some others that were mentioned when he was drafted. Sure, this is some cherry picking - it's not like there aren't "non-superstar" players that did better, but I know one common comparison thrown around has been Tavares, so I thought I'd look for big names like him and some others and compare their rookie seasons.

Now that is cool. I saw another one comparing "dynamic duos" for goals scored by a pair. Malkin and Crosby, Toews and Kane, etc...looking at the individual numbers though this really puts it into prospective doesn't it...very cool.

No it did not, Nick Holden was the only NHL player in the deal. It was Holden, prospect Kyle Wood, 2016 1st round pick and a conditional 2d round pick according to his sources.

I trust the guy, he has some real inside connections with the team, he was the one who broke the story about how Kevin Hayes was set on signing with the Avs but Rangers came in and offered him a spot on the 3rd line guaranteed. Avs weren't prepared to do that

If they do some of the rumoured moves that have been posted. Duchene for Faulk, Barrie for Yakupov and the 4th overall.

If they blow it up and sign stammer, it would be a major crazy overhaul (highly unlikely but for fun why not)
