Exactly ! I didn't have the pleasure of watching Oates play or at least have fond memories of his playing career but from clips I've seen and things I've heard he was one of the best play making centres of all time. Hull scored 50 a year and at least 30 of them were on primary assists from Oates

Right now, two years after the draft he's probably the third best forward in his draft Larkin and Draisaitl being above him. I think Reinhart will have a better career than Draisaitl though.

I was told it will be close to 10 if not 10 a year, you won't get him to look at the Sabres for 8 a year. He makes 7.5 now.

Eichel is either a better or tied to prospect to Matthews so he is therefore a better prospect than Laine. Laine would probably compare to Landeskog coming out. Which is pretty effin' good! Still I wouldn't trade the 2nd overall pick for nothing short of two firsts and a proven top line player. Eichel would've gotten way more than that.

Reinhart being an underwhelming 2nd overall pick? Give me a break... He just finished his first pro season. Another year playing next to Eichel or O'Riley and as long as Murray does what he must and bring in at least one more top six player his numbers should only improve. Let's wait on saying he will be just a good to very good player and a underwhelming second overall pick before he finishes his second pro season...

I meant in terms of where the player ranks in terms of potential not who he has similar playing style to. Ovi is a better play than Eichel, McDavid or Matthews right now. Laine may be a poor mans Ovi. Still good but not the same level
