No, Pysyk has strong analytics ratings and most people who know more about hockey then anyone on here (including me) say he is a good player who when put in the right situations can be a very solid player for a team. Reinhart is on his 2nd team all ready and not saying he's bad but Pysyk has shown more in the NHL level which isn't saying too much but is a fact. - bluengold12

While' I'd like Nash if other younger options were all ready expelled I do know he has a NTC. What kind of NTC that is I'm not sure. I also don't know if say it's one where he can list 8-10 teams he WANTS to go to we probably won't be on there. I don't know how the rules work if they can go up to him and say "Hey Rick, we know Buffalo isn't on your list of teams but they've got a great offer for you and if you want, we can put you in touch with Terry to see if it would be a fit." I don't know if that is allowed? - bluengold12

I agree...but I would hate to trade an asset for a player that will likely bolt 12 months later. - Jeropotato
Any team that trades for him would know they can sign him. Like us and ROR |

I can say what I've heard on TV, TSN, and some other analitics guys when talking about Buffalo. I'm not going to go searching for links. I'm confident I've heard it. |

That is most definitely not allowed unless the Rangers grant him the ability to talk to other teams. That's the definition of tampering.
I believe he has a 12 team list of where he won't go. I heard that in passing, so make of that what you will. |

Reinhart is a righty and not better than Klefbom, Sekeras or Davidson or Nurse, our other right handed D.
Pysyk is only better than Reinhart in your eyes cuz you're a Sabres fan. Admit it. - Jeropotato

No poop. Draft picks are like New cars. Worth X amount u til their driven off the lot and then they lose half their value.
We were talking about Darnel Nurse the other day and someone said he wasn't a 1st rounder.
He was a first rounder what, 3 drafts ago? Since then he's gotten bigger, stronger, faster, experience another 2 years of junior, was MVP of the Gold medal game in the WJHC,AHL playoff experience and has 1 ,albeit tough, year of NHL experience , lost zero potential yet is a diminished asset? - Jeropotato
Naw, draft picks are like scratch off lottery tickets, 4 out of 5 are losers, but you always want more because the next one you get will be that jackpot you've been waiting for. |

If that were the case, I wouldn't hesitate for a second.
The only way I see them keeping the pick is if they move Eberle for a D and want the ELC. |

So the media actually compared Pysyk to Reinhart on TV? Do I need to put on my rubber boots? |

What I meant is if the Rangers do something similar to what Montreal tried to do with Gorges. Gorges didn't want to go to Toronto and even though he stated it on his list, Toronto still made an agreement in principle for him with Montreal. He eventually rejected the offer but I wonder if Rangers can do the same thing with Nash |

I think the Oil make a few moves. One of the big forwards is gone IMO, and I don't mean Yak.
What about a trade around Dumba and RNH? Minny could use a top young center, Oil need top 4 RHD |

I've heard some good proposals lately.....
Shattenkirk for the 4th
Brodin and Granlund for RNH +
Faulk for RNH
Eberle + for Trouba
Haven't heard a reasonable Hall trade scenario yet tho...just lots of poopty ones. |

Oh, yeah, that's kind of different than what you were saying before.
Bottom line is the Rangers have to grant Nash/his agent permission to talk to other teams. The Sabres can have a deal with the Rangers, but if Nash doesn't waive then it's moot.
Edit: When the Vesey thing happened and the Sabres were looking at college FA's. Murray talked openly about Nelson, and the other kid, I can't remember his name, but when asked about Vesey whose rights belong to Nashville until August said something along the lines of "I can't talk about players on other teams, but yeah, we're looking at a bunch of guys." |

I think id do faulk for rnh. Then draft tkachuk at 4. Bet thats what chiarelli would do if that offer was actually on the table. |

Not sure if this is a fair trade for either team but Hall for Lindholm and Anaheim's 1st might be close to a fair deal |

Just dont go crazy offering anaheim or minnesota real players for their defense. The d market is stupid enough as it is.

That's because good ones are rarely available. Seth Jones fetched a 70 point young center, and Jones was half potential at the time. He was never used is a 1 or 2 role with Josi and Weber there |
