Ain't no one throwing him under the bus. He just needs to get it going. If you cannot score it does not mean you coast around in your own end. How many times do you hear how big his legs are, how strong he is and he had one hit last game. It wasa good hit but come on. You want to break coverage change your game up. This is like his rookie season where he used the same move over and over and eventually the other teams caught on.

Birth of child is great but it does not stop one from going to work. Hell if a child be born made you compketely distracted I would have a lot more brothers who died over seas.

Agree 100%. It's not just that the puck isn't going in for him, it's that he seems totally disinterested. For a guy who wants to be a leader on this team, that is what crosses the line as being totally unacceptable.

And it's not Vlassic either. He's not the reason you come skating across the blue line with your stick three feet off the ice like you're taking a lap at the end of practice.

You can't honestly believe he is disinterested, right?

Of all people, Tarasenko is probably the last guy on our team that would be disinterested.

I know or not a big deal, but simple comments like he is disinterested is just unbelievable to me. He deserves more respect that Blues fans talking about him like that. I know it doesn't matter, but he had earned our respect in my opinion. 5 games doesn't change that. Even if it is the WCF.

I respect him, but you have to call it like you see it weather you like what's happening or not. Yes, by his body language and his play he has looked disinterested. He has the most talent and physical ability of anyone on this team, but you would never know it watching the last 5 games.

If the Blues lose this series it is just another let down to me. I don't care about getting this far blah, blah, blah this teams window is closing. And I don't care about participation trophies. This will go down as just another playoff failure. Sorry hate on me if you want. It is cup or bust in my eyes

I'm a ginormous Tarasenko fan and it pisses me off that some people have totally tried to trash the guy in STL, but I will say he doesn't look like he is competing on every shift. At times sayin "he looks like he's taking a lap at the end of practice" is an accurate statement. I honestly believe the guy is banged up. I'm kind of just at a loss as to what's going on. Even his shots don't look like Tarasenko shots. Would love to see him bury a big goal tonight so I can stop reading and hearing about how he sucks. Damn I'm nervous for this game. Take it to 7 boys! We can worry about that one when we get there.

Elliott craps the bed early.

Thankfully he should be gone this off season.

That was terrible by Jaybo and petro and Elliott made the breakaway stop. How did they not match up the 2 on 2 and let Pavelski waltz free?

Petro's dive was terrible and their coverage after the initial breakaway was even worse.

I still would like to see Edmundson with Petro more.

ETA - Elliott was not good on the play either but the D play was terrible.

Yeah seriously.

Come on he has to cover that. If he does not try to move there then it is no goal because he would be pushed.

I put that more on the lack of a back check. Also two players on one yu better get the puck.

Not enough desire for the puck.

I agree Edmundson and Petro look better. JayBo just contains and wraps them up in the corner. Should be a penalty every time he uses one hand to hold the player based on the rules.

Bouwmeester has to have the longest time between pass receipt and shot release of ANY AND EVERY NHL player. It's maddening and like he is stuck in molasses. Release the dang shot already.

Nah Salvador, Brewer and Jackman all had that issue.

So can anyone explain to me on Fabbri's last shift he is going for the ouck with Braun. Braun skates over and hits Fabbri before making a okay on the puck. How is that not interference?

This is how they come out to try and win an elimination game?? I see the ghost of past playoff failures has reared its ugly head once again. This is an absolute joke. The Blues cannot play their game and have no idea how to adapt to a different style to make it somewhat more of a game. Shooting wide HAS TO STOP. Shattenkirk at the point doesn't even attempt to hit the net he just throws it 5 feet to the side of the net. Does ANY OTHER TEAM DO THIS????

Answer is a simple and resounding NO. They put pucks on net from the point

What a **&^%#$ joke

Stastny had the puck in the high slot near the top of the circle and instead of driving farther in passes it to someone basically stationary at the point losing all forward progress and it results in nothing. <------the story of the Blues play this entire series.

Tarasenko needs to get his head out of his ass. He wants to be a difference maker? NOW is the time to show up. Sure we like your 40 goal regular season, and the 1st 2 rounds you were fine, but when the going gets tough, WHERE ARE YOU??? Double teamed? Yes. The other teams has to repeat the opponents star players, but to a point where through out the series he has 0 points. Thats not just on the defense, thats the player also.

How come the SJ playr interferes with Brouwer first and does not get called? All series they interfer and hold int he neutral zone and only a few calls. But retailiate is a call? That is poor officiating.

C'mon win a face off and get a goal. Make them pay for the icing like they have made us pay at times.
