Too many highly regarded D prospects never really pan out. See, e.g. Piss-ek. Pay the man his money for a #2 D and get the young sniper in a draft.

I'd say top 5 picks like Gudbranson or Bogosian are much more underwhelming than a late 1st in Pysyk but the point stands I guess

Gotta admit i was way wrong on this one. Hated Deboer, hated him for the sabres and thought he'd be a disaster in San Jose. Very impressive work he's done with that team.

Lots of hate by many towards Pysyk and Girgensons. Understandable because they had off years. However, I am a glass half full guy and I think both of them can rebound and have good years with the Sabres. However, if either/both get traded as part of a package to update the top 6 or top 2 D, sign me up.

I had a beagle, well a beagle mix, he looked like a beagle, but he was black and white instead of brown and white, and was about 15-20% bigger than a beagle. He was the best dog ever.
