We gave up two 2017 picks and Jared McCann who I really like.

Gudbranson is top 4 D for us. IMO his size is to help against the Ducks & Kings.
D don't come cheap but I'm ok with this deal.

Benning has made some bad trades this year. This one makes up for them, trust me. This is a great trade. Mccan is a second center at tops if he gets there. He might end up as a 3rd or 4th line player.

I think it is a good trade for the Nucks...no way he is a #6. I have seen him play a lot and he slots in as at least a 2nd pairing.

Not enough time to watch Mccann though? How are his stats? Do you watch him a "decent amount" like you watch the Panthers?

Realistically the trade is a crap shoot for both teams. No room for Mccann to be a top 6 forward in Vancouver and Gudbranson is a big 24 year old with some upside left. Will he ever be an elite d-man? Nope. Will Mccann ever be a top line scorer? Nope. At least we got something to talk about though.

Sorry, his ceiling has already been established. #6.
