Sutter deal was a bad deal for you guys. Enough said.
Main point was to the guy who asked if that list was supposed to be positive or not, it's not positive and if you can't see that you need to get a clue and take off the blinders. - RonPielep
Bonino and a 2nd rounder for Sutter ad a 3rd rounder. Bonino is sh!t. He was healthy scratched often this season and has put together a lucky stretch in the playoffs playing behind Crosby and Malkin. Sutter is a top 6 forward and is younger than Bonino. |

You lost it in cap value and picks on day 1 and you're losing it in terms of each player's respectful impact on their team today. |

Learn to read between the lines. It isn't marginal Sutter is a much better well-rounded player over Bonino. Bonino being carried by star players in PIT sure is easy to say right? Did you witness Bonino not score in Van for three months and be invisible vs a bubble playoff Flames team? So all of these third lines guys that get carried deep into the playoffs by better players and line combinations are you going to name them all for us?
Wake the hell up man. |

You think Gudbranson won't be able to play 2nd pairing in Vancouver?
Expectations are so high in this city...... - golfingsince
Hes not going to provide any offense, wont help the forwards with their productivity, he is not bad at hitting and keeping forwards out infront of the net but thats hardly top line material.
Mccan must have asked for a trade i just cant wrap my head around trading a 20 year old nhl rookie. |

Kassian, Clendening, Jensen... Gimme a break. A bunch of AHLers, a couple B level prospects and a handful of draft picks which have a 0.5% chance of becoming NHLers for a potential top line centre in Sutter, a top pairing d-man and solid NHL depth players. All while being able to draft some great prospects including a franchise goalie. Future is bright out here on the west coast in the best city in the world. - hankthetank

A lot of people are saying Mccann is a cancer in the locker room. Terrible attitude, entitled, etc. Was never in the Canucks plans. Should be out of the NHL within 3 years. |

Actually Bonino and his line and Murray basically carried the Pens for weeks and well into the playoffs. Crosby is just now starting to heat up. |

Man you are in desperate need of some clarity if you think that trade was a win.
1) you got the worse player by just about every statistical measure
2) you got a worse salary
3) you got a worse draft pick
4) Sutter only played 20 games for you
5) Bonino has been an integral part to the Pens playoff success
6) Sutter's linemates are consistently better without him than with him whereas the opposite is true for Bonino. But I guess that is too much of a fancy stat to be worth anything... |

And so it starts, can't we have a player get traded who isn't a cancer?
