Putting aside that Sutter is a 1c(he isn't btw) Sutter would put up the same or possibly better numbers playing with hag and kess. Pitts traded Sutter because they needed to save the cap space.

No actually I didn't. I was the one clarifying for some blind person that the list on Benning's trades was a negative not a positive.

He go one of he 2 3rds back in the sutter deal. 2 of the 2nds he acquired in other deals. Baerschi was 100% worth a 2nd rounder. He got 1 5th back from Florida. The difference between anaheims 2nd we gave up and our 3rd we got back isn't huge. he got another 2nd from CBJ for Torts. So far it doesn't seem that bad. My only complaint is that it was this years 2nd and not next years or the CBJ 2nd.

I have no (frank)ing clue. How is that relevant? I'm not the Pens GM and I don't think Bonino is worth much of a cap hit but I think he is worth more than Sutter. I was never trying to say Bonino is an allstar in case you got caught up in some false narratives that were being drawn up out of desperation.

If Bonino wants to get paid a salary based on his immediate success with Kessel and Hagelin well first of all he won't be and secondly he will have to sacrifice term and prove it's more than a good run.
