Oh yes I'm the troll.
Just like McCann and a 3rd rounder get you the 4th overall pick...
This place needs a little bit more outside influence if you guys have gone off the rails so far to believe that is in any sense an intelligent remark.
It's like you guys just shut down outside thoughts in this thread so much because you'd prefer to dwell in a delusional state of extreme bias and homerism that makes everyone comfortable with the outlook of the Nucks. Like a little safe space to shield you all from reality and critical thinking.
That's why I brought up JJ's thread, because it is a cesspool of this same poop. - RonPielep
Linden Veys rights, Emerson Etem and Carl Neil for your 4th overall?

Yes, unless he evolves into something we haven't seen yet a team won't win with him top pairing. However, even when we were good that 6th dman was always questionable. - golfingsince
It's all relative, If, and I know it hasn't and still might not happen, TB can win with Stralman in their top pairing, a team could win with Tanev in it's top pairing.
If Pit wins this year, who is playing with Letang?
SJ has Paul Martin on their top pairing, etc.
I think more accurately, the team won't win if he is our #1 D or if that top pairing is composed of Tanev and player like Edler who is good but not great. |

That's a remote location. There are a lot of guys on these boards that have a connection to northern alberta (by job association mostly). Northern BC too. Surprising.

Sure, I'll go with this.
However, I'd like to point out that the career highs in points for Martin and Stralman are substantially higher than Tanev's 20. |

I'm inside influence?
Reading comprehension isn't your thing hey? - RonPielep
No you're not an influence at all, you're a distraction. |

You have to be semi retired or working in the north to be on HB |

Vantel's gonna love this blog. - golfingsince
I like the blog. I have even come out a few weeks ago and said Tanev will score 7 this year. I don't dislike him personally I dislike the combo of Edler Hamhuis and Tanev as the top 3 , but Hamhuis won't be back so I have softened my stance on the D |

I agree they do have higher career numbers but I always have a hard time comparing players during different season on different teams.
Looking at just this past couple of seasons.
Tanev had 55 in 203 games (.27 ppg)
Stralman had 86 in 236 games (.36 ppg)
Martin had 46 in 191 games ( .24 ppg)
Would Tanev be able to avg 6 more points a season playing with Hedman?

Helps if you have forwards who can put the puck in the net too. |

Not at all . Hutton should be bottom pairing. I don't mind Edler Tanev top 4 and replace with two new guys not named Russell or Hamhuis |
