But as I said earlier, everyone wants to win.
Murray cant wait around and "hope" the youth pan out, or he wont have a job in a couple years. thats why when everyone complains about trading picks and prospects I dont really quite get it. Murray only has so much time to succeed until he gets replaced. Im quite sure in his job interview, he gave a playoff time table. He's got to meet the bar he most likely set for himself. He's got to take a shot at the big dogs and hope he lands at least one. Stamkos is at the top and im sure theres a plan B, C, etc...

Buffalo has a great future but to state they are a few years ahead of Toronto is flat out wrong, and this will be proven on the ice next season.

JVR is easily the best winger on either team. Mathews and Eichel are likely equal. Ror is better than both Kadri and Bozak for sure. Nylander and or Marner will eclipse reinhart. My guess is Marner.

JVR and Kane are probably equals when accounting for skill/ results of said skill.
Eichel gets a slight edge based on prospect but we'll see how Matthews does this year
Nylander isn't close to the prospect Reinhart is. Marner you have a point he looks to be really good but we'll see if he can translate that. Reinhart was a 20 goal scorer in his first season. Risto is on par with Riley maybe a little better. You don't have a goalie close to Lehner's upside. Your close not we're 100% ahead right now.
