I don't know.
Kesler plus a second a third and a fourth

For

Sutter, Gudbranson, Sbisa , a third and a fifth sound like a good deal to me.

You say he is not a top 6 centre but Benning who has seen him play many more games than you, and has scouted him live , thinks he is.

Benning is a GM of a NHL club, you and I are fans of NHL clubs. I hope you don't mind but I will trust him more than us.

I don't think Benning thinks he's a top six center, I think he was hoping he could be and he's the best he could get his hands on....that's what I think.

You don't have to be a GM to see his game and point production is not that of a quality NHL center on a decent team.

He's a really good third line center, he is what he is.

Benning walked in here to 9 NTCs , an aging core, and prospects were Bo Hutton Subban Gaunce Shink and the guy we traded for Etem

Look what he has done in two years.

I don't considering IMO the team will miss the playoffs again with the Sedins getting another year older.

Unless they sign Stamkos and Lucic

He was a 3LC behind Crosby and Malkin. I think he could be a 2LC no problem if given the chance. If he stays healthy next year I bet you see improvement to make more believers.

Sutter made the team better and the record when he was in the lineup supports this.

I understand your pessimism but the future isn't as grim as you continually preach it is.

Even in junior he never put up quality offensive numbers, he is what he is. Top six centers need to be able to distribute the puck or score a lot, he does neither.

I agree to an extent but I don't think it'll be as bad as it was this year. 3 to 5 years a D we are back to being competitive in the west.

I don't think the Twins re-sign, I think they retire....that's gonna really have this franchise in the basement.

If Canucks keep Hansen they could have a speedy tenacious line with Etem Sutter Hansen

It will for sure and I think the picks traded are hard to swallow but the team is no doubt much different and much younger. I think one more draft after this year and we see a constant revolving door of prospects into the line up. Starts with Boeser, Demko and our 5th this year. I think it's harder to predict in other rounds but anything could happen in later rounds for Benning to prove his eye for talent further. Let's hope we find Some late round gems in next two years and all is good. Let's not forget what we have in Olsen and Bresbois. Here's hoping.

Etem plays any thing like the last few games of this season and maybe he has found his game. I'd love to see a line like that if Hansen stays.
