I think we're seeing that Jim has decided to look to both college and Europe as a better chance to get a lore developed prospect pool than through the regular draft. Who knows if the success rate is higher or not but I'll give him credit to at least chase this avenue more maybe we have in the past.

Personally, I'd be willing to take a flier on RFA Brandon Perri of ANA ex Fla as a scoring forward 22 goals in 49 games one season ago and 14 last year when his minutes went way down and traded for a 7th rounder by Ana. Give him an offer of $1.75-$2m and doubt that Ana with their internal cap will match.

I hope they have plenty of entertainment for the draft party. There's going to be some awfully long stretches in between picks.
