Not many teams can offer 12 mil because they need to fill multiple positions. Canucks only need to fill 1-3 spots.

Ive been going back and fourth that if id rather Stamkos, or have Lucic/Eriksson and Brouwer. Getting Stamkos tho would be that elite player the team needs now that sedins are declining.

how the hell would they even come up with that number? Certainly havent havent talked to SS or JB....invention in someones mind sitting in their basement.

The problem is unless we get SS or some other good UFA we need a seasoned pro like Hanson....Once you know theyre here then he's expendable. But youre right that the right trades could make Van better for UFAs. So it's a gamble trading in advance of FA.

Any player following the canucks should be able to see the addition of Gudbranson and tryamkin with larson nilsson stetcher in tow should be able to see an up and coming strong D.

In a couple years Stamkos with Virtanen would look pretty good aswell, but as a young power forward jake will need more time before hes at that level

McCann for sure.

For all the who cares I hear he still showed more promise to potentially be a #1C then Bo. Different players, and Bo is the safer bet but I see Bo more as a middle 6 forward.
