Wish the Blues had never traded Bishop. Should have traded Halak instead. Bishop and Elliot or Bishop and Allen would have been great, plus Bishop went to high school here locally. |

Bishop for Nichushkin? Is he still on the DAL trading block? Can we figure out a way to ship off Matt Carle too? The last part is admittedly unlikely but I'd be happy with the former, given our looming cap issues - ctcork
Fine by me as Blues seem to beat Bishop and DAL is a central rival |

Yes they should trade Bishop and everyone else! Kucherov, Drouin, Stamkos, TyJo, Palat, Hedman ect I mean why not right? They are only young with a large contention window right now right? |

Tampas primary focus should be having the money to keep Hedman. Identify your goalie (my preference would be vas) and deal the other. Stamkos would be nice to keep, bit of his ask is as high as it seems it will be, I'd move one. Keeping kitherov, Johnson and some of the other young contributors is more valuable than stammer at 10 mil a year |

Bad deal for Tampa IMO. - Oneonta Penguin
I'd do it. Adding Nichushkin, subtracting Filppula is worth it.
Top six would be:
Drouin Stamkos Nichushkin
Palat Johnson Kucherov
Moving both of those guys gives us room to keep Stamkos. I'd like that top six EVERYDAY of the week and twice on Sunday's. |

This is a tough one. I would not rule out at all making vasilevsky the goalie to trade. He may bring back more in a trade while being the worse of the two goalies |

Carle and 27th-overall for RJ Umberger.
Tampa saves $1M on the cap next season, and Umberger comes off the books when Hedman goes UFA.

Bishop costs $6M, has one year left on his deal, and will turn 30 early next season. The goalie market is about to be flooded by teams not wanting to lose them for nothing in the expansion draft. TB, ANA, COL, STL, PIT, DET, and BOS all have a decision to make on their goalie situation.
DAL, CAL, VAN could use upgrades. It's not a seller's market. |

I think Detroit would be more than happy to protect Mrazek and lose Howard in the expansion draft... As for Boston, while Gustavsson is a serviceable backup, there's no real debate about who they protect.
All the other teams, for sure, though. |

Subban.
Det would LOVE anyone to take Howard for nothing. Just another name in the goalie market more so than an actual decision to make.
Heck, doesn't CHI have a good young guy too? |

Has Subban played enough professionally? (I totally forgot about him).

drafted 2012. Not ready to start but if the Bruins rebuild/retool, I could see Chara and Rask getting dealt. |

If we could move Carle and Filp that gives us 33 mil to sign Stammer, Kuch, Hedman , Vladdy and Killorn 10, 6.5, 7.5, 2.5 and 4 .Hedmans extra 3.5 isn't for another year. |

Perhaps Bishop gets traded a the June draft? Could make sense to get ahead of the rest of trade your second goalie teams. |

Might have to retain some salary to move them. Your numbers look good. |
