I am of two minds about Ohlund. He left. I guess so did Bure .... and Naslund.

But if traded like Linden or outdated like Naslund --- thats one thing.

Ohlund, like Bure, chose to leave. While yes, Ohlund was given a huge long term contract, hard to say no to.... I still say that disqualifies him from the ring of honour. He can still be considered great and a alumni but not ring of Honour.

Did you know in 1988, Markus Naslund won an award for the Swedish League literally called "Pucken Best Forward"

With my humble opinion I couldn't disagree more. He was basically pushed out the door and put on a plane.. Best Canucks Dman in history to me. We've never had great D men but Ohlund was a beast for us forever. I'll never forget Ohlund Vs Iggy all those years.. He deserves to be in the ring.. Deserves it more then naalund deserved his number retired, I'll never change my mind about that lol
