Not as crazy about Jost as most. A project of a player due to the lack of competition he faced. Likely two-three years away from making the NHL and his natural position is center. I want a skilled fast winger or a big left shot defenceman with high hockey IQ and puck moving ability. Any of the top three defenceman fill that role and Nylander fills the quick skilled winger role those would be the only four players I have on my board at 8

Looks like the sharks are following the Bolts strategy: Sloppy play in their own zone and looking to score ESPN top 10 goals rather than get shots on net. They're in big trouble if they don't get back to playing hard nose hockey and driving to that net for goals

Shots 10:2 who would have thought using the logic of shooting more increases your chances to score. Weird.

I hope Bylsma can get Eichel to shoot a little more when he has open lanes as the puck might not always go in, but it could lead to a nice rebound for someone else to tap in

Benn is three inches taller. I don't have the scouting report from Jamie Benn in 2007 but just because they are both centers and played in a lower tier league doesn't mean they are the same prospect. Benn went in the 5th round meaning every team in the league past on him at least four times. He obviously wasn't seen as that great of a prospect. Jost put up better numbers but he's generally seen as a 9-15 prospect. I think it would be a reach on a position we don't need on a player that will spend most likely three more years in college hockey and could also spurn us for a better situation if he continues to put up amazing numbers.

Nope he's going to continue to put Gionta and Larsson out there and have them shoot right at the goalies pads or wide of an open net.
