Nope he's going to continue to put Gionta and Larsson out there and have them shoot right at the goalies pads or wide of an open net. - bluengold12
Damn right he is because Wonder boy Girgensons stinks. |

I'd really like to see marleau and big joe get a cup, but man, they better get it together as a team real quick or they may just being cupless for yet another year |

Benn is three inches taller. I don't have the scouting report from Jamie Benn in 2007 but just because they are both centers and played in a lower tier league doesn't mean they are the same prospect. Benn went in the 5th round meaning every team in the league past on him at least four times. He obviously wasn't seen as that great of a prospect. Jost put up better numbers but he's generally seen as a 9-15 prospect. I think it would be a reach on a position we don't need on a player that will spend most likely three more years in college hockey and could also spurn us for a better situation if he continues to put up amazing numbers. - bluengold12
I'm not saying he's the same player at all but the fact that he absolutely destroyed The league Jamie benn was in General managers are not going to make the same mistake of passing on a player because he's on the lower tier league .
they're going to look at his game all around that's why this player is ranked in first round |

Don't worry. Unless Murray gets a top six winger we have the thrilling combo of Girgensons for five minutes with Eichel where he can't keep up and then Moulson to get a few perfect passes to his stick where he misses wide |

I just don't want a center. Unless it's Auston Matthews. Center's can't always play wing. Look at Larsson and Girgensons. |

Agreed, I have always been a fan of Jumbo Joe. If he doesn't get a Cup before his career ends it will be a shame. |

A lot of 1-0 2-1 games I'm sure with 15 to 10 in shots for the game... - bluengold12
And if one of those coaches succeeds more coaches are going to change their system to there's then destroying the NHL |

You can never have too many centers look at the sharks . You just have to find the right ones |

Agree to disagree I guess.
What do you think the percentage of people in the Bay area watching the Sharks game 1 of the cup vs. game 7 of NBA western finals...
I'd say unfortunately 75% NBA 25% NHL |

yeah I'd say that's about right. Though San Jose is the biggest city of the 3 major cities in the Bay. Not sure that makes a difference. |

That's somewhat shocking to me considering how big of a city San Fran is in terms of culture and the fact that they have 3 sports franchises there |

I agree. As of 2010 San Jose had about 140,000 more people.
In 1910 Buffalo was the 10th largest city in the US |

SJS is losing right now because Brett Burns is a wild child. It falls to Martin to be really great in the backend, but Burns has been way out of position about 5 times - and certainly on both Pens goals. |

I don't think Burns was on the ice for either Pens goals. His +/- is even. Vlasic and Braun are both at a -2. |

I really wanted the Sabres to get Martin this off season. Murray really dropped the ball not trying to pursue him harder. Guess he and Bylsma weren't that close because you'd think that could've helped us with negotiations |

I know a lot of people are not gonna like this but this is probably going to be the lowest rated Stanley Cup and maybe the last 10 years I think
More people around the world are going to be watching the NBA playoffs to see if the Golden State Warriors can make more history |

Agreed. Because America is so incredibly stupid. Unless Chicago, LA, NY, Boston, Washington or Philadelpha are in the finals the ratings will always be low |

I wonder how a Sabres/Coyotes SCF would do in the ratings |
