I don't see those two are better or worse then one another. I see them as equal. Will just depend on whether or not you want a center or a LW.

Side note, Bryan (fernando pisani) Rust.... hot hot hot. and now connor who?

Always take the center.

Yeah you can just trade them away for D instead of drafting D ever.

I'm not against it. I kind of like their rankings.

I still believe Laine may end up becoming the lesser of the Finns. They have Nylander ahead of both Dubois and Tkachuk.

Now that is a (frank)ing joke

If you're small, size kills. If you're big, speed/skill kills.

Which part?

You're as much of a pro scout as I am. The thing about scouting future talent is projecting what they will become, not what they are now.

Brown has pedigree and imo his ceiling is higher.

everybody is always going to be different. When Van drafted Bo I remember something about Gillis saying they had him at like 4 on their board. Every scout, every team is different, every reporter has a different opinion.

We are overthinking this. It is either Tkachuk or Dubois.

really it would be a pretty good idea. Van just traded away one of their best forward prospects for a solid 4th D man. Nashville traded a future top pairing D for a 1st line center. Screw the other models, lets go with the nashville model. Defence first.

Yes, and the experts here were outraged we didn't take Shinkaruk.....

Turns out, Shink was grabbed 26th?

Anyways, he was a projected top 10 pick wasn't he?

Monohan was taken earlier than projected too if I'm not mistaken.

I don't think it's outrageous. It's a draft.

I just watched one where a guy fell 10 spots for a 2 year old bong video.

Sharks better bring their own puck for the second period because the Penguins aren't letting them play with theirs.

Monahan was ranked 5th in NA and went 6th. Shink was ranked 6th. Looking at that draft on hockeydb. Only Dano has played more and scored more then Shink around that spot. Couple guys in the third round are now in the league. There is always somebody who falls down from their draft ranking and there is a reason.

Here's an article from 2010, which kind of shows we shouldn't just be pigeon-holing guys into certain draft slots.

What did you think of Monaco?
- A_SteamingLombardi

Wasn't thrilled about starting the race under safety car but they pretty much had too on a circuit like Monaco.

Also, thought that Riccardo had a bit of Nucker-like temper tantrum about the blown pit stop.

Lastly, it looks like Justin Bieber's life doesn't suck too bad.
