This writer usually annoys me as he is an analytics princess and has been pretty negative recently...but it's a pretty good unbiased view of Gundbranson...he looks past Yosts simplistic shot based analysis. It certainly seems like Mitchell was dragging him down

it is nice to read different perspectives and interpretations of the numbers.

The media, for the most part, appear to have made up their minds that JB is a bad GM and are very quick to jump on any move he makes, not waiting for games to be played and the results of the moves seen on the ice before judging.

Common perspectives or ones repeated by many in the media, carry a certain mob mentality with them, and a certain laziness. It is easier to follow in line and not step back and look at a transaction with an open mind and possibly put forward a different opinion or take on the situation. Flat earth sort of stuff.

Which is why JB is a different sort of GM, different ideas, and with his player evaluation and scouting background, I'd love to see his draft order and know who he covets on other teams beyond the superstars.

I am okay with most of his moves, was disappointed to see Shinkaruk moved for Granlund, but that appears to mostly be a minor move in the big scheme of things.

I wonder if Pittsburg would entertain the idea of trading Conn Smythe winner Nick Bonino for our 5OA pick?

You deserve a year long ban for your racist avatar.
