I would consider it in a trade up scenario but that hardly makes our team better. If anything it makes us worse. Tkachuck wont likely score 20 goals for us next season and likely wont be on the team next year.

ennis plugs a hole where they can move someone else for a d man (eberle/hall)

Does anybody know the answer to this? When we sign prospects to their ELC so that we don't lose their rights, do they automatically have to play pro here? I know we can send players who signed a ELC back down to juniors if they're under 20, but what about overseas guys like Karabacek?

I like the player but he's not an essential cog.

He can be replaced like much of the roster.
