You can't move that in which there doesn't exist value.

No one in their right mind is touching that Moulson contract, unless we take David Clarkson or Horton. Franson can probably be moved, but not for significant value. His roster position also needs to be replaced.

Ennis has real value and has been very solid other than last year... I'm certain the team could get something real for him, but I'm willing to bet they try him out again this year and see how he fares in Bylsma's system.

Paying Franson 3.325M to play like a bottom pairing guy isn't fair for him. He is basically a reincarnation of Mike Weber but way overpaid. Keep him on the bottom pairing.. he lines up a few hits.. his legs are past his prime. No one cares. But look at his salary and people start losing their minds.

Agreed. I think I'd like to see him actually on the ice with this team. Granted he played the first few months of this season up to December and was just flat and couldn't get anything going. Moulson-esque if you will.

I think he deserves a better chance.


Noted above - Pronger did get traded this year... Clarkson and Horton in the last 2 years as well. Anything is possible for a floor needy time I suppose.

He's had a rough play style. But he's always been pretty slow. Succeeded well in Toronto's high flying system. Good at joining the rush and manning the point on the pp. Till a puck goes past him.
