The mock draft on NHL.com even has us taken the center Jost over Chychrun and Sergechev. That seems like a reach to me. - MillerTime1130
I don't see that happening at all. Despite Gerbe's love for him. Center is the last thing we need. And I know he could plausibly play wing. But I'd rather get Nylander or one of the top three defenceman

Agreed. A top 3 defensemen or Nylander is bound to fall into our laps.

We don't need anymore centers . Winger or D in the first round .
I have serious doubts about Nylander. I believe he could even fall out of the top ten meaning Buffalo will pass on him. I really hope they do not take him even if he falls to us. He is a very soft perimeter player that requires other players to provide offence for him. Not the type of player I want
More I read on top three defenseman the more confused I get.
Most NHL scouts and directors of scouting and also draft reporters are saying Sergachev is the most NHL ready and could even challenge to play this year. I don't know where the Sabres have him in their ranks and I'd be very curious to hear Murray talk about him and a few of the other top prospects

No way will he fall out of the top 10. I'd say 90% he's gone by 7
And what do you mean have other players provide offense for him? That's the whole point of a goal scoring winger... for guys like Eichel and Reinhart to give him the shot and he fires. You don't get OHL rookie of the year for nothing. The guy can play and would bring to the team something we don't have... Skill, speed and goal scoring ability

He doesnt drive the offense and picks up alot of secondary assists. Most of his goals are tap ins or fed from other players (mcleod) digging in the corners and getting the puck for him. hes soft and gets pushed off the puck in juniors. not good qualities for a top ten pick.

I cant see murray taking him. My best guess is chychyrun. Obviously we will have to address speed at some point, but if you use the words "small", "soft", and "perimeter" in the same scouting report, murray wont be interested.

We've drafted enough "bigger" guys who can create offense. We need speedy skilled guys who pounce on the offense handed to them by guys like Eichel, Reinhart and O'Riley. That was our biggest problem on offense times 100. If I have to sit through another season of bums missing grade A chances given to them by our skilled playmakers I may hurl... Nylander doesn't have to be a giant tough guy he just has to put the puck in the net and be there where it counts.

I trust this scouting report from an actual draft site a little bit better...
He’s an excellent skater with a deadly shot, but he can score goals from in close thanks to a ridiculous set of hands. Nylander is able to make smart decisions as he maneuvers through traffic, and his ability to stickhandle in and around a dense field of sticks and skates while knowing exactly where his linemates will be makes him an indefensible threat on the rush. He’s impossible to prepare for, as he can beat you with his playmaking or his heavy shot. And much like his aforementioned brother, Alexander loves to hang onto the puck for what may seem like an eternity, but is done in a sensible fashion without trapping himself into a corner. He can play either side of center ice, and kills penalties, so don’t you dare consider him a one-trick pony. Nylander should be considered one of the draft’s best goal scorers, but his ability to thread the needle and play selfless hockey makes him one of the few two-pronged threats available for 2016.

You will because Nylander will require at least a couple years getting stronger, learning how to play defense and learning how to handle NHL defenders (since he cant even handle junior players)

Considering he was OHL rookie of the year I'd say he can handle them quite well
Its cool man its fine to have your opinion. I have mine. I hope they do not draft him - MCGUIZZY
I get it you have an opinion and I have mine but it's a fact that he was OHL rookie of the year and led his team in goals.
I don't know about you but we have enough bigger wingers. It's nice to have a speedy pure goal scorer in our ranks. Even if he's not ready next year he brings something no one comes close to having in our organization at any level.
"The upside of Juolevi is that he is more NHL-ready than Jacob Chychrun and many other potential prospective defenders, because Juolevi is on loan from Finland is eligible to play in the AHL next year instead of going back to junior."

Hes one dimensional to the highest degree thats my issue. I think there are more complete players in the draft that I would be shooting for

There's not one forward better in terms of goal scoring that we could actually realistically get in the draft. It's a no brainier to me unless Murray loves one of the likely two defenders left more
