Reading another thread and there was talk about Vesey and having to wait til whenever (August I think it is), then someone mentioned "unless you trade for his rights".

Why the hell hasn't someone done this yet? I'd think Nashville will be happy to get something for him. If this Arizona thing is any sign, the best they'll get by just letting him lapse is a supplemental pick at the end of the 2nd, right?

Any team with a pick better than that would be smart to offer up their 2nd if they think they have a good shot at signing him.

I can see Boston not doing so, being the "front runners" and all, but Toronto has two 2nds, so I could see the value to them to offer one up, and it probably wouldn't be a bad idea for Buffalo too.

Not really. If you had 3 job interviews, would you take the one that scheduled you at 9am before you lisrened to the other 2 companies in the afternoon?

He's awful in so many ways. He brings down his teammates and has terrible shot suppression. Which means, he's poop for a defensive forward.

He has great speed, and I'm not sure what stats you're looking at, but he has decent fancy stats. Nothing ground breaking but solid for a 4th liner.

Veteran guys on 1-3 year deals who would be excellent 3rd line guys with speed, leadership, defensive ability and goal scoring touch.

Helm Lewis Stempniak would be a very, very good 3rd line
