You know the thing is .......... most teams in the NHL can say the same thing in periods of years where their 1st round picks were busts. In the NHL it just seems like more of a crapshoot then in other sports as to whether picks make it to the NHL.

Well, the older players are when they're drafted takes a lot of the gamble out of it, that's why, generally speaking the NFL has the highest rate of 1st round picks that are good contributors. Followed by the NBA with their one and done. Followed by the MLB and NHL where you can be drafted at like 12 years old.

Ugh...found out last night from my dad that, despite never mentioning anyone else going for this whole year we've been planning it...suddenly he's trying to get 5 tickets rather than just the two....blah. I was gonna try too - 2 people trying is better than 1, but to try to sell 5 tickets if we both happen to get them?? I dunno...

I mean, I know the odds are miniscule to get any tickets, but having 5 extras might be tough to unload.
